These were some of my very first postings on this blog, so I'm really happy to share again! I also used Pink by Design stamps with these. Have a great day everybody and God bless!

This is my first ever blog hop and I'm so excited to be a part of it for a special reason. This blog hop is to thank and honor our friend Madeline from The Shabby Vanity for being the great designer that she is and helping some of us crafty ladies design our blogs. In December, I decided to start my own blog to share my passion for crafting. Since then I have a had a lot of fun with it and have learned not only about crafting but about maintaining a blog, not to mention make a few friends along the way. When I heard about The Shabby Vanity, I thought it would be great to have my blog done professionally and with a style that represents me little more. And here you have it!!! Madeline created an awesome blog for me and I just love my blogging experience now! Thank you Madeline for your professionalism and your patience in dealing with me! :)
For my project I've created a shadowbox that I can place in my crafting area and reflects my blog in some way, I ran out of time and didn't get to the card, but Madeline you will be getting one!!! I used Canvas Corp's black white mini dot reserve paper and used a jungle green ink from Ink Pad to give the white dots the green color and then sprayed with kiwi Perfect Pearls Mists. I also used paper flowers from Creative Memories. The Martha Stewart's small ribbon thread puncher helped for the threading of the ribbon through the bottom. The cartridges used were Forever Young and Lyrical Letters.
Now for some blog candy!!! Thank you Angie and Jackie from A Scrapbook Life for sponsoring my giveaway today. One lucky winner will receive 10 sheets of Canvas Corp black and white cardstock in various designs. You can easily customize these papers to your project theme color by inking it with any ink pad. These can be purchased from A Scrapbook Life for .75 a sheet. I love this cardstock, the quality is great and you can do lots with it!
All you have to do is be a follower on my blog and leave a comment on this post. For an extra entry, you can grab my button and leave me a separate comment telling me you did so and your blog address (I will make sure to follow you as well!!). I will pick a winner on Sunday January 30th, 2011.
Thanks for visiting. Now you can head on over to our guest of honor's blog Madeline at The Shabby Vanity. Have a beautiful day and God bless!

My First Stamp of the Month with Pink by Design
I was on my way home today, tired as heck and all I could think about was doing nothing and trying to get some rest. But when I checked the mail and got my first Pink by Design stamp of the month, I got excited and decided to do a quick card. The stamp set is really cute and so versatile. I have a feeling that these stamps will go a long way for me! Here is a picture of the stamp set:
I made this cute little any occassion card and just added a little color to the image. It was simple enough to make and sometimes you want to make a quick card without pulling out a cartridge, so this is definitely the way to go!
Hope you enjoy it. I know I sure did! God bless.
Pink by Design is quickly becoming one of my favorite stamps. The sentiments are great and now with images, it's going to be even better for me. Of course all the other stamps don't stay behind. I'm beginning to have binders dedicated to specific brand names, since it seems like I'm building a collection of quite a few!
Hope you enjoy it. I know I sure did! God bless.

Winner of Celebration Time
I haven't forgotten about this, but it's definitely been a very crazy weekend!!! My girls' cheerleading team's Parent team started practice Friday night, and I'm in it (no laughing please!). Needless to say that I could barely walk on Saturday! I have to say that I have a whole new level of respect for my what my daughters' do in cheerleading. Of course they are a lot younger and can handle it much better! It is very nice to get together with other parents in the team and work as a group in putting a routine together (well, the coaches put it together, but we work very hard and making it look good!). We will be competing in one or two competitions with other parent teams, so I will definitely keep you posted on the fun!
So with no further ado, the winner of the Creative Memories tape runner is:

My Wacky Wednesday Color Challenge
So for the first time, I've decided to enter a challenge. I never did these because I felt like I didn't have enough time to put projects together just for challenges, but I wanted to give it a try. Guess what? I LOVED IT! and I will be doing more!! I felt like it helped me to put my brain to work a little more than usual (no jokes please!). Paula from More than Favors hosted this challenge. The challenge was to use turquoise, red and white in a project. I originally wanted to do a card, when I started doing the cut out, I realized I could do something more. So here it is:
I used my imagine more cartridge and edited the image to change the colors to show my theme. I also didn't want the images to print the sentiments and the image on the sun so that I can use my own stamps. I used Peachy Keen Stamps Happy Lashes for the sun and Pink by Design's Faith sentiments. Using a candle seems to have made the sentiment more meaningful (not to mention that it matches my home color decor very well!). It seems very simple, but I think the idea came together very well. Don't forget to make a comment on my 100th follower Celebration Time post. Just click on the link and it will take you directly there. Thanks for stopping by and God bless!

Celebration Time
Wow! I can't believe that in one month I reached just a little over 100 followers on my blog! I want to thank everyone for all their support and I hope that I will continue to post things that will be of interest to all of you. Your comments are very meaningful and definitely brighten my day! I also have to say that I thank God for leading me to this talent (because just about 2 years ago, I didn't even pick up a color pencil!) and for allowing me to meet so many wonderful people through networking. Even though I don't know you personally, you all hold a very special place in my heart!
As promised, I am doing a giveaway to celebrate this goal. I will be giving away not one but 3 brand new Creative Memories tape runners. I will leave this posting open until Friday 12 noon EST and will choose the winner using random.org. All you have to do is be a follower, leave a comment below and a way for me to reach you. Good luck everybody!

Happy New Year!!!
Is 2011 really here? I can't believe how fast another year has passed by! 2010 was the year that I truly involved myself more with crafts and blogs. I've met a good group of friends that not only have inspired me, but also have encouraged me to move forward. 2011 is the year that I will work on my crafting and blogging skills. My new years resolution was in fact to craft and blog more this year. I have quickly come to learn that this is my way of learning and having fun. My future goal is to join a design team some where using stamps that I truly love and believe in.
I decided to personalize a journal so that I can jot down my crafty ideas and things to do. I need to also get myself organize with many other aspects in my life, so I hope it works and if not, then I have a pretty journal! I used the Hello Kitty Greetings, Don Juan for the fonts and Peachy Keen's Super Simple Eyes and Noses. The white part was a little challenging because of the whiskers. I had to manually cute it in order to show the black whiskers coming from the face.
So along with my hopes and dreams, I want to wish everyone a very happy 2011, one filled with much love, happiness, health and success. Remember that with God all things are possible.
God bless you all!
Zeni
P.S.If you could, please share this post with others. I would like to reach 100 followers and once I do, I will have a give away. You can also recommend me as a friend on facebook or ask me to be your friend if you are visiting for the first time (ScrappyZeni Pradel). :)
