Wedding Blog Hop

If you have arrived here from Jayme's blog then you are in the right place.  If not, you don't want to miss all the amazing projects both design teams have made and start at Candace's blog.  Plus there is great blog candy to be won!!!  We are all featuring Jaded Blossom's Wedding Candies and Wedding Wishes and Lovebug Creations new  rumple ribbon color butter cream, so I hope that you all have enjoyed every stop and I don't leave you disappointed!

Since I'm big into invitations and party decorations, I decided to do an invitation for this hop.  Wedding Wishes is just perfect for this and if you add the beautiful colors of Lovebug Creations rumple ribbon, it just makes for a match made in heaven! (no pun intended!)

I used both wedding wishes and wedding candies stamp sets and simply blue and new butter cream rumple ribbon.  I think those two colors together are just beautiful.  I used the simply blue across the card and both colors as a ribbon behind the dress.  The stamp and the invitation wording just go together perfectly!

Happy Birthday Michelle!!!!

Welcome to Michelle's birthday blog hop!!! If you have arrived here from Xochitl's blog then you are in the right place.  If you just happen to be stopping by you may want to start at Candace's blog, you don't miss out on the awesome projects made for Michelle, not to mention there is a lot of blog candy!

I made Michelle this card.  Of course, I used Jaded Blossom alphabet and birthday candies and I had to use some yummy rumple ribbon (purple-dise and a new coming soon color to the lovebug store!) from my bestie Kimi from Lovebug Creations!  

Michelle loves purple so I made sure to have some in there along with some echo park paper which she absolutely loves!

There is a funny story behind it.  As I was making the card on Tuesday night, I realized that I had lost the letter L.  So I went into panic mode and ordered another set and had it sent to me priority mail just so I can finish my card!! I'm pretty sure that I was emailing with Michelle on this since Candace was on vacation LOL.   It was placed in the mail Wednesday and I promptly received it yesterday, just in time for the hop!  Michelle, now you know why I desperately need it! Not to mention that I had orders to fill that I use these candies for!  

I had a lot of fun making this card and the ribbon center.  I basically wrapped the two colors around my three of my fingers (adjusting my fingers for the width that I wanted) and then tied it in the middle.  I made two of these and then glued them to a 2" circle.  I then cut the sides to give it this cute effect.   I added a button, some twine and a couple of fabulous pins that my dear friend Ana makes and voila!  I won't show the inside because it has a little surprise for the birthday girl!

Birthday Blessings

Good Friday morning everybody! I made this simple card/giftcard holder for one of my daughter's friend and used the limited Old Glory collection.  This Revere's Ride red is such a beautiful color.  I love how it stands out with the blue!
