This week I am featuring another wonderfully talented lady, Heather from Stamp the Details. I met Heather through the Paper Hoarders Facebook Group. She has a very unique way about her style and loves to stamp and color.
Here’s a little bit about Heather and her project:
Hi! My name is Heather Strenzwilk and I've been stamping for 17 years. I live with my husband and daughter in upstate NY. In addition to taking care of my family, I work part time doing quality control and technical support for a small software company. In my "spare" time I am on two design teams and I review products for an online craft blog (I love being paid in product!) Card making was my first adult foray into paper crafting and is still my favorite because I love paper, ink and stamps. I enjoy both rubber and digital stamping and often combine both in my work. I finally broke down in January of this year and bought a Big Shot and a Slice and I don't know why I waited so long!
Thanks Scrappyzeni for inviting me to guest blog today. We met on a papercrafting group on Facebook. She was looking for volunteers to be her guest and I took a chance and sent a link to my blog and the rest is history!
My project is based on a ready to make matchbox kit from Martha Stewart. I didn't like the covers that came with the kit so I cut one apart and made it into a pattern. Each cover is a 3x6 piece of cardstock scored in a few places. If I stamp the background I score after I stamp. For the inside I used a pre-cut piece from the kit. These can be made quickly- especially if you use a scoring board. Fast and easy and a fun way to share a small treat.
Heather, thanks for agreeing to be on the "Spotlight". Feel free to grab the Spotlight button on the right to display on your blog.
Please stop by her blog and leave her some love! I'm sure she will love it and along the way she can make a few new friends! May you all have a beautiful Saturday and God bless!
