Card Holder for Special Cards

Hello my dear friends! Today is my day at the Lovebug Creations blog and I'm so excited to show off some rumple ribbon!

For my project I made a card holder.  I had been searching for a card holder and decided that instead of buying something, I would make something.  I came across a picture on Pinterest and it lead me to a tutorial at The Rubber Cafe blog.  It's super easy and all you need is one sheet of 12x12 paper!

I have been on a mission to make cards for people I find on facebook that are struggling through cancer or other illnesses.  I love making cards and thought why not make and send to some of these individuals.  It's something I constantly have in my heart and decided to move forward with it.  So I made 16 of these cards with 2 simple encouraging sentiments to send out.

Here's a close up of the sentiments:

Jaded Blossom Treat Bag Die and Candy Charms and Banners Die
Jaded Blossom Alphabet Candies
Heartfelt Creations Hope in the Lord stamp set
Market Street Stamps Blessing in disguise stamp
Martha Stewart border puncher
Craftwell Delicate Dots embossing folder (perfect for mass producing!)
Authentique Glory Collection 6x6 pad for the cards
Martha Stewart Birthday collection cardstock pad for the card holder

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoyed my little (somewhat little) project today!

Perfect! What a great (and beautiful) way to store your cards. I really need to do something like this and get my cards out of the tacky plastic box I have them in...lol! Thanks for sharing this lovely idea!

Girl you are so creative. Just AWESOME is all I can say. And another thing I really need to be more like you and start thinking how I can make something instead of buying something. ;) Great great work.

I wanted to make a gift set for my mother's aged godmother. But the cards would need to be slim. This just might be the ticket!
