Fruit of the Spirit Blog Hop

Welcome to another Faith Blog Hop presented to you by Paper Tree House Studio!  If you have been following the hop then you should be arriving here from the wonderful Karel's blog.  Isn't she just amazing! I love the inspirational music that she has on her blog!  If you just came across this hop, then go to My Paper Tree House to catch the beginning of the hop.

I want to thank Nana for allowing me to participate with this wonderful group of ladies.  Not only are they talented but they are also wanting to spread the word of God and what better way to do it but their own talents?

Every month a group of bold women gather to make the Name of the Lord famous and to share the talents we have been given by Him.  We also like to share a little bit of Truth that we have learned from the Bible and/or a bit about how He has impacted our lives.  This month the theme is “The Fruit of the Spirit”.

In Galatians 5:22-23 we find the following definition: “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.”

If you are not experiencing one of the characteristic of His Spirit in your life, pray that the Lord would cleanse you and purify you.  He is into the business of completing those He saves.  My prayer is that you would draw near to the Lord and that He in turn will draw near to you.

My Random Act of Kindness
I can't help but think how kindness seems to dwell in my heart so much.  I work in heavily homeless populated area (Downtown Miami).  Although I can't do this all the time, the times that I can, I will go and buy lunch for the homeless or if I have left over from my own lunch, I will give it to them.  The smile on their face is priceless and all I do is smile back and say "God bless you".  In the same way that I try to help the homeless in more than just this way, I try to help other people when they are in need.  I feel that because I bare one of the fruits of the spirit, I am blessed in more ways than one with health, love, wonderful family and great friends.

For my project, I created a digital scrapbook page.  I am beginning a faithbook and what a great way for me to add something to it that I can share in this blog hop!  I used my Creative Memories software and I'm also going to be giving this to my Mom for mother's day in a nicely decorated shawdowbox (I'm truly trying to multitask!)

The same way that the Lord blesses those He loves we want to bless you.  We have found an amazing line-up of sponsors and we want to share with you what you could win by hopping around with us:
Paper Tree House Studio: Cricut Create
Scrapbook News & Review Magazine: One year subscription to their online magazine.
Zutter: Distrezz-it-All
Scrapbooks & Stuff: Seasonal Cartridge
Papperie: Yummy Goody Bag

Now pay close attention because there are rules to be followed!  In order to win one of these Grand Prizes you will have like My Paper Tree House on Facebook (click here to go straight to their page), leave a comment on this post, and become a follower on our blog. Then you have to follow the hop order as you follow and leave messages in the posts of all the amazing and talented women that are part of the lineup.  All throughout the hop you will find random acts of kindess and special giveaways, so make sure that you complete the entire hop! :)

I am also giving away my own candy.  All you have to do in addition to leaving a comment is become a follower on my blog and tell me one of your random acts of kindness.  My sponsor today is Joy from Joy's Life.  I am giving away one of her awesome stamp sets, All Around Sentiments Stamps.  You can check out the rest of her stamps by clicking here.

Now for some more fun!  Hop on over to the talented Jessie's blog to be inspired some more.
God Bless!

Love the layout!! My random act of kindness would be when I was walking to the bus stop after work and there was a girl out asking for money. I had never given money before to any homeless person but I felt promted to do so. I gave the girl my tip money and said God Bless you. She smiled and said thank you. Thanks for the chance to win

This is an amazing blog hop with such inspiration and an awesome way to get God's message out there, through talent!!! My random act of kindness was a friend of mine that lives miles away was having financial difficulty just 3 days ago so I made out a check to help out.. I am sure this person will really appreciate it when he receives it.
Thank you for a wonderful chance to win, this is new to me! I am having so much fun and feel blessed that I found this... I found it through KAndrews at Getting Kricuty with KAndrews! She is a beautiful person.

That is a gorgeous LO.
I like the random acts that are really random, smiling at strangers, leaving money in a trolley at the supermarket, little things like that.

What a lovely page creation! And I am already a follower of your delightful blog. My random acts of kindness? We live in a new subdivision and everytime a new family moves in I take them over a "welcome to the neighborhood" handmade card and a bag of homemade cookies.

I'm embarrassed to say that I cannot think of the last time that I did a random act of kindness... I'm ashamed. But thank you for bringing this to my attention.

Thank you for this Hop.

And your layout is absolutely gorgeous.

Well, it is a small thing but my random act of kindness in the past few days has been to stop and pick up a turtle off the road so he wouldn't get run over!

If you are not experiencing one of the characteristic of His Spirit in your life, pray that the Lord would cleanse you and purify you. He is into the business of completing those He saves. I ask for patience in dealing with my athiest son-in-law. america57@comcast.net

Wonderful message and beautiful layout. I am sure your Mom will love it. I love Random Acts of Kindness and try to instill it both in my children as well as my students at school. One of my favorites occured one summer day, when to my surprise I saw our Pastor in my review mirror behind us at a Taco Bell drive through. When I got to the window, I paid for both our order and his just to be kind to a man who has so blessed us with his messages and love for the Lord. It was a simple thing, but I don't think either of us will ever forget it! :)
Thank you for blessing us today!

Beautiful LO, I love the blessed title! I love reading everyones random acts of kindness, not enough people out there in the world do it as often as they should. I am guilty of that too. I try to do something nice all the time but sometimes I can get in to big of a hurry or just walk by if someone needs help.
I take my kids to the nursing home twice a month to visit with the older or sicker people who are staying there, I love that now my kids ask on Wed is it this week we get to go :)
Thanks,
Theresa

I love your faith scrapbook and I'm a new follower of your blog. My random acts of kindness is sending several "Footsteps in the Sand" bookmarks to my son in prison to share with others. It's just a simple way for him to share his faith with others during a difficult time.

Hi sweetie! Thanks for the invite to the Blog Hop today. It has been a JOY to spend my time with you girls....:O) Thank you for sharing your kindness to those in need. I often buy meals and give them out when needed. I pray that they see and thank Jesus when he blesses them. Love your faith book and would love to make one myself. I tried to 'like' you on FB but your link is broken. I'll see if I can search around and find you...:O)
